Greenville Gay Realtor Who Opened His Own Brokerage in 2016

I was born and raised in Lexington, NC (the BBQ Capital of the World!). After living in Charlotte for some time, I was transferred to Greenville with a previous job.

Once here, I fell in love with how close to everything Greenville is. As a Greenville gay Realtor, my "forever home" is in Pebble Creek on Paris Mountain and have a second home in Cliff Ridge Colony at Caesars Head.

Prior to moving to Pebble Creek, I lived in both the North Main Area, Overbrook area, Travelers Rest area, as well as the Augusta Road area where I renovated a condo at McDaniel Heights. I graduated from The Wyatt Real Estate Institute in 2005.

In 2009, I was selected as one of Greenville’s Best and Brightest 35 and under by Greenville Magazine, and in 2015 was selected as part of The Greenville Chamber of Commerce's yearlong Leadership Greenville Class 42.

In November 2013, I was named one of the Top 99 Realtors on Twitter by WebsiteBox as well as one of the 32 Most Popular Realtor’s in America by Home Buyer Nation. Starting in 2018 through 2022, I received HomeLight Top Listing Agent Awards.

In October 2022, I was awarded the Certified Residental Specialist (CRS) designation, the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers, and brokers!

I have served on several boards and committees, including with Greenville Forward, yWca of Greenville, Greenville Rotaract, and the Julie Valentine Center. I served as a Commissioner on the Greenville Municipal Elections Commission from 2015 - 2017 and as the Chairman of the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce Small Business Policy Council.

I currently serve on the GGAR Professional Standards Committee and the South Carolina Realtors Association Professional Standards and Grievance Committees, as well as being a board member of GOPAC, The Greenville Chamber of Commerce's Political Action Committee.

2016 was a watershed year for me. In addition to opening my own real estate brokerage in May; I survived several strokes and about a week in the GHS Neurological Trauma ICU in December. As a result of that experience, I was tapped to be the Patient Advocate on the SC DHEC Stroke Advisory Council, a council that was formed by the Legislature in 2011 to help adapt uniform policies statewide to ensure better care and a higher survival rate for those impacted by strokes.

In addition, I have served on the GHS Stroke Advancement Council since 2017 as well as on the board of Greenville Polo Classic which benefits the GHS Neurological Institute.
