I'm Eric, an Ottawa gay Realtor. My partner Steve Langlois and I have been together since 1979. We both worked in the high tech field for many years and in our spare time we bought, moved into, and fixed up many houses and condos. We also developed real estate web software and websites for many realtors.
Because we had so much interest in the real estate field, I decided to get my real estate license in 2005 and joined the excellent firm of Royal Lepage Performance Realty. Within the first year I was doing it full time and moved away from the high tech field. Two years later Steve also got his licence to be able to join me in the business. We've been working as a team ever since and loving it.
It has been a great pleasure to assist so many great people with the most significant financial transactions that most will make, and we're happy to be able to leverage our contacts and high-tech backgrounds to achieve superior results.

Our tech knowledge has proven very useful for creating and managing our own websites to ensure that the properties we sell for clients appear prominently in the search engines. I also continue to support several other websites for friends and non-profits, including a site I created years ago when my mother moved to town. All of my real estate listings are automatically displayed on that site in addition to my real estate site, giving them that much more exposure, which results in all listings showing high up in Google.
Being involved with the seniors site has also given me the means to build up a network of complementary services that I can direct to those who need them, particularly when it comes to downsizing.
