Wisconsin Home Sales Up 17% in July Over 2011Wisconsin home sales rose 17.3 percent in July and the state registered its fifth straight month of increasing home prices, according to the Wisconsin Realtors Association.

Wisconsin has recorded 35,405 home sales through July of this year, a 20.4 percent increase over the first seven months of 2011.

The seven-county southeast Wisconsin region had a 23.2 percent jump in sales in July compared with the same month of 2011. The number of sales increased in every southeast Wisconsin county except Racine County, where the 172 sales in July is nine fewer than in July 2011.
