WI: Home Sales Gaining Momentum

Wisconsin Gay Real EstateExisting home sales in Wisconsin continued to improve in March, apparently helped by an improving economy, record-low interest rates and an unseasonably warm winter.

It is too soon to tell if this means the housing market has hit bottom and finally is in recovery, but the signs are good, said Michael Held of Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group in Green Bay.

“I am optimistic. I think we are on the edge of this returning to consistency, with a regular and level amount of activity,” he said. “We can see the momentum, but the question on people’s minds is, ‘Is this thing going to last or is it a short spurt?'”
