Western Florida Home Sales Up in October

Florida Panhandle Home SalesSingle-family home sales in Escambia County rose 18.5 percent in October over the same month last year.

Pensacola-based Metro Market Trends reported 295 houses sold last month compared with 249 in October 2010.

Median sale prices also took a 22.3 percent jump, topping out a $119,111, versus the $97,333 median recorded by MMT for the same month last year.
