TX: San Antonio Home Sales Jumped, Prices Dipped in August

San Antonio Real EstateThe housing market in San Antonio appears to be rolling down the road at a stately pace that’s more parade speed than drag race.

The number of home sales jumped 9.5 percent in August compared with the same month last year, but home prices took a slight hit, according to data released Thursday by the San Antonio Board of Realtors.

Foreclosure postings also took a dive, dropping 31 percent for the October sale — a number that sounds great but probably indicates a backlog of foreclosures is building.
