Tonight we conclude our series on the most expensive homes in the borderland and show you the one that tops our list. Drive into the upper valley and you just may notice the third most expensive home in El Paso. According to real estate website Zillow.com, 5131 Thornton spans across four acres and in the El Paso Country Club neighborhood, appraiser Angelo Amoriello says that land comes with a price tag to match.
“If you’re looking at an average of $100,000 an acre, you’re looking at over $450,000 to $500,000 just for land,” Amoriello said.
Neighbors tell us the home belongs to a real estate developer. With five bedrooms and six bathrooms, landscaping, an electronic gate, fountain, and quality window work, this home comes in at a cool $1.38 million, and at number three on our list.
