St. Louis Home Sales Up for 14 Straight Months in August

St. Louis Real EstateHome sales rose sharply in August in the metro area, realtors report. Prices, however, showed little movement in most of the area.

Sales were up 14 percent St. Louis city and county in August, compared to the same month last year, says the St. Louis Association of Realtors.

Sales rose 36 percent in St. Charles County, 17 percent in Franklin County and 2 percent in Madison County. Jefferson County showed an 8 percent decrease.
