Sales Slow, Prices Down in New Hampshire Real Estate

New Hampshire Real EstateSales are stagnant and prices are mostly down for single-family homes and condominiums in southern New Hampshire and eastern Massachusetts, according to the Northeast Association of Realtors.

The association, which represents more than 1,200 Realtors throughout the Merrimack and Nashoba valleys, released the data Tuesday during a program titled, “State of the Housing Market: 2011 Review & 2012 Forecast.” It said home and condo sales rose in November compared to last November, but that year-to-date sales through the end of the month were down a little: less than 1 percent for homes and 5.3 percent for condos.

NEAR’s report is based on data from MLS Property Information Network based in Shrewsbury, Mass.
