More About the Professional:
Welcome to the Open Doors NW real estate team, serving the greater Portland-Vancouver metro area...and sometimes beyond. We are focused on professional guidance with jaw-dropping customer service for people making transitions in their lives: moving to the area, buying a first home, selling a home and upsizing, selling a home and downsizing, investing. Life happens, and we're here to help you on the home front.
Customer service is our mantra and guiding principle. At each step in the process, we always lead with the query "What can we do to make this transaction as smooth and beneficial for our valuable client?" We do this with proactive communication, open dialogue, effective negotiations, simple language for complicated concepts, and outside-the-box thinking for unique situations.
Corey has been working in real estate since early 2007, and got his start in the Rockridge neighborhood of Berkeley/Oakland, CA. He has been working in the Portland metro area since 2010. Allen is an administrative systems wizard, who just happened to be surrounded by real estate his entire life, with a veteran Realtor mom and living alongside Corey. We are both fully licensed to assist you with real estate transactions in Oregon and Washington.More Details:
The LGBT population of Vancouver, Washington is exploding, according to recent census data, and for many good reasons. In addition to the progressive qualities of Washington State, Vancouver has a tight-knit LGBT community. We have pride festivals and entertainment, many LGBT-owned businesses, widespread support from allies, potluck and community groups, many welcoming churches. The tax advantages of living in Vancouver are also a big draw for many people. And, with metropolitan Portland just minutes away, Vancouver offers almost everything that the LGBT community needs.
And, I'm sure you are curious about the housing. You can usually get a lot more house for your money in Clark County, as opposed to Portland. And, if you want a larger lot size with room to roam, Vancouver might be the place for you. The housing stock is diverse, and many of the schools have high rankings. And, you have a nice variety of neighborhoods to choose from, such as the hip uptown section of Vancouver along Main Street and the suburbs with a view up on Prune Hill in Camas. There is something for almost everyone.
So, do yourself a favor and make some new friends in Vancouver....one of the friendliest and fastest growing LGBT communities in the country.
