More About the Professional:
I’I've been a full-time, professional San Jose gay REALTOR(R) since 2002, specializing in the sale and marketing of homes in and around the Santa Clara/Silicon Valley and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to pursuing a career in real estate, I worked in the high-tech industry managing large customer service organizations, where I fostered the simple attitude that happy customers are the key to repeat business. I maintain this straightforward philosophy today as I strive to meet ALL the real estate needs of ALL my clients. My experience ranges from selling large, rambling estates to smaller townhouses and condos. I also love guiding and supporting first time buyers as they negotiate the process of becoming homeowners, as well as helping investment buyers maximize their real estate dollar. In short, I relish the challenge of matching the perfect buyer to the perfect property.
I've lived in the South Bay since the mid-1980s when I first began to explore the many distinctive neighborhoods around the valley. In the late 1990s, I moved to the East Foothills with my (then-partner, now-married) husband, and our son. We love the diversity of this fantastic area and the wonderful amenities it has to offer.More Details:
Although the entire area is relatively tolerant and inclusive, there are a number of neighborhoods in and around the South Bay that have a reputation for being more gay-friendly than others. There is a relatively large percentage of LGBT homeowners, both single and married, in Naglee Park, a charming, established neighborhood of cute bungalows, elegant Victorians and fashionable Craftsman style homes, ranging in size from comfortably cozy to truly grand and impressive. The area around The Alameda, Stockton Streets and Hanchette Park is known for being artistic and trendy, and also has a reputation for being very gay/lesbian-friendly and inclusive. The East Foothills, an area of affordable, large homes, many with fantastic views, also boasts a large percentage of LGBT households. On the western side of the valley, the cities of Campbell, Los Gatos and Saratoga are known for their exceptionally tolerant perspectives and welcoming attitudes. And of course, the nearness of San Francisco, the LGBT-Mecca of the west is a huge bonus!
I'd welcome the opportunity to introduce you to these neighborhoods and their amenities and even some of the people who live there, whether you're in the market for a home or not. I'm proud of the place I call home and love showing it off to its best advantage. So please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like a personal tour of the area.
