OK: Tulsa Foreclosures Dropped in November

Oklahoma Real EstateOctober’s sharp rise in metro area foreclosures didn’t continue in November, although the local rate of home defaults remains higher than the nation’s as a whole.

RealtyTrac Inc. reports that 751 homes began the foreclosure process in metro Tulsa last month.

The resulting rate of one foreclosure for every 541 households represents a decline of 16.2 percent from October and 28.2 percent from November 2010, according to the real estate tracking service.
