Ohio Real estate Sales Up Again in August

Ohio Gay Real EstateOptimism seems to be creeping into the region’s real estate market. Home sales were up again in August as more residents took advantage of what agents are calling a true buyer’s market.

Home ownership in Ohio increased 12.7 percent for the month over this time last year, the 14th consecutive monthly sales gain since December 2004, according to September reports by the Ohio Association of Realtors.

With the economy on an uptick, home prices declining and interest rates as low as 4 percent, Barb Murray, executive officer for the Mansfield Board of Realtors, said “It’s probably never been a better buyer’s market.”
