Oahu’s housing market continued to show some positive growth in almost every area except for the median sales price of single-family homes last month, according to statistics from the Honolulu Board of Realtors.
The median sales price dipped nearly 1 percent from $605,000 to $600,000, comparing December 2011 to December 2012.
But other than that, there was across-the-board growth, including the number of home sales, which increased nearly 9 percent last month to 291. There were 268 home sales in December 2011.
