There have been signs the real estate market is improving in Northeast Florida and moving toward a “balanced” market. The latest figures from March released by the Northeast Florida Realtors Association show pending sales up 17% over a year ago, and list prices are rising.
Local realtor Cara Ameer says she has been very busy of late. “I have been on the run a lot, and gladly take more of that,” said Ameer of Coldwell Banker Realty in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Median sale prices in Northeast Florida rose 4.8% and average prices are up 10.4 percent. Dane Leslie, NEFRA President, says declining inventory is the reason.
