Nashville Home Sales Up As Prices Fall

Nashville Tennessee Gay Real EstateMore homes in Middle Tennessee are selling as prices fall. Sales have been up four consecutive months. But, during that time, median home prices have fallen almost 10 percent.

Realtor Kim Fennell says business has been gaining steam. Some houses are getting multiple offers, and Fennell says both of her company’s part-time employees have doubled their hours.

Fennell thinks sales are up in part thanks to lower prices, because many sellers don’t have much choice but to settle for less. “Now I feel like the people that are really selling are the ones that understand if they’ve got to move because of a new job or they’ve lost their job, they’ve got to price it right.”
