Massachusetts Home Sales Rose for Fourth Consecutive Month in October

Boston Massachusetts Real EstateTwo reports said sales of single-family homes in Massachusetts rose for the fourth consecutive month in October over last year.

The Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR) said sales of both single-family homes and condominiums rose again in October, thanks to a better job market and low interest rates.

The Warren Group of Boston also said sales of single-family homes rose in October, calling it a “good sign for the real estate market and an indication of improving consumer confidence,” Warren Group CEO Timothy M. Warren Jr. said. But the Warren report cited a 12 percent year-over-year drop in condominium sales.
