MA: Home Prices and Sales Dropped in March

Massachusetts Real EstateSingle-family home sales in Massachusetts declined in March when compared with the same month last year.

The Massachusetts Association of Realtors said home sales fell 22.4 percent while The Warren Group – a real estate tracking firm – said sales dropped 14.4 percent. The two organizations use different numbers to track home sales.

In Bristol County, sales dropped 36.2 percent in March to 178, the Warren Group said. Home prices in the county slid 2.2 percent to $225,000.
