Borderstan polled its readers to find out where the District’s gayest neighborhood actually lies, and for the fourth consecutive year Logan Circle took the crown. By a landslide, in fact, raking in 42 percent of the votes. Taking second place with 22 percent, was the cheekily titled option “Everywhere and Nowhere,” the former of which was very evident this past weekend when Pride festivities took over the city.
Coming in third place with only 9 percent of the vote –a 13 percent decline from last year–was Dupont Circle, which has long been considered D.C.’s official gayborhood, but has since lost some of its gay cred to the booming midtown neighborhood in recent years.
