The first major condo project launched since the real estate bust started sales this past weekend.
Insignia, under construction at Sixth Avenue and Bell Street, will have twin 41-story towers atop a shared base. The first phase, set to open in spring 2015, contains 350 one- and two-bedroom condos, priced from a little under $500,000 to approximately $2 million.
The first phase also includes a 41st-floor sky retreat and resident lounge; a seventh-floor open-air terrace with an outdoor grilling area, outdoor fireplace gathering area; a fitness atrium with a yoga and Pilates studio; a screening room with an entertaining bar; an outdoor pet retreat, pet wash and grooming area; a gated and attended parking garage with assigned parking for residents, electric car charging stations and a car wash bay; bike storage with a work area; and retail shops.
