Inland Empire Home Prices Up 5.2% in September Over 2011

The new CoreLogic home price index shows a 5.2 percent home price gain in the Inland region in September from one year ago, a pace not seen across the country over many years.
Prices have also risen nine-tenths of 1 percent from August.

With the sale of homes not listed as a short sale or real estate owned, or REO, property taken out of the mix, year-over-year prices in the San Bernardino, Riverside and Ontario areas are up 6.7 percent in September, compared to one year earlier.

The September results put the region right in line with the nationwide average of 5 percent year-over-year, according to the CoreLogic report released Tuesday, Nov. 6.
