New numbers have experts optimistic about central Indiana’s struggling housing market. January’s existing home sales in the nine-county Indianapolis area are up 13.4 percent from last January, RTV6’s Tanya Spencer reported.
That’s good news, considering sales had dropped about 30 percent over the last five years.
Jim Litten, president of F.C. Tucker Realty, has analyzed real estate trends for decades, and said he’s excited by the strong start. “I’m more optimistic than I’ve been in five years,” he said.
