Real estate agents in northern Idaho say there is a six-year supply of homes valued at $1 million or more on the real estate market.
The Spokesman-Review reports that in 2002, there were just four homes in the region listed for sale at more than $1 million, and just two sold.
Compare that to last week, when there were 199 homes listed on the Coeur d’Alene Multiple Listing Service at prices ranging from $1 million to $17.5 million. If last year’s sales pace holds — about 33 of the high-end listings sold last year — that’s a six-year supply.
