ID: State Real Estate Prices Dropped the Most in the Nation in May

May’s drop in Idaho home prices eclipsed all other states and the nation as well at 16.4 percent, including distressed properties, compared to May 2010, according to CoreLogic, an online tracker of real estate information.

Idaho has topped CoreLogic’s Home Price Index since last year.

Home prices in Boise and Nampa declined by 15.09 percent in May compared to May 2010, according to CoreLogic’s home price index released Thursday. In April, prices declined by 14.27 percent for 2011 compared to the same month in 2010.
