IA: Sioux City the State’s Most Affordable

Sioux City is the most affordable housing market in Iowa and 10th most affordable nationally, said Coldwell Banker Real Estate, based on home listings for a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home from September through March.

Iowa City was the state’s priciest market, with an average home listing price of $247,364. Sioux City’s average was $80,152.

Woodward, Burlington, Des Moines and Norwalk rounded out the five least expensive markets in the state; Johnston, Cedar Rapids, Ames and Ottumwa follow Iowa City as the most expensive.
