GA: Cherokee County Real Estate Sales Up While Prices Drop

Cherokee County Real EstateHome sales in Cherokee County crept slightly higher in March, but still fall short of last year’s numbers.

There were 153 homes sold last month throughout the county, according to the First Multiple Listing Service, a data services provider for real estate professionals. The total may increase, as not all sales are immediately reported.

That’s up from the 148 homes sold in February, but down from 232 in March 2010. The average sales price in March was $170,517, a dive from $195,196 in February and $191,461 in March 2010.
