FL: Orando Real Estate Market Shows Some Improvement in June

Gay Orlando Real EstateFor the first time since 2005, real estate conditions in Seminole County are tilting towards a seller’s market, yet prices remain affordable for buyers. According to the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, 11,480 homes are for sale in the Orlando area.

This is one of the lowest inventories of active properties since the peak of the market in 2005, and homes in Winter Springs and Oviedo are among the scarcest.

“It was predicted that we would have 15 to 20 percent more downturn this year and we haven’t seen it,” said Rob Reese, associate realtor at Century 21 Oviedo. “There are people buying and selling homes right now. Everybody in my office is busy. Last year at this time I was twiddling my thumbs.”
