CT: Foreclosures Plummet in February 67%, Also Down Nationwide

February Foreclosures from RealtyTracA total of 225,101 additional homes went into foreclosure in the U.S. in February, bringing the year-to-date total to 486,434, according to the latest RealtyTrac figures.

That’s one of every 577 American homes, but down 13.86 percent, RealtyTrac says.

Connecticut currently has 6,794 properties in foreclosure status, RealtyTrac says. The 747 in February is 67 percent better than the same time last year.
