When a home came on the market in Pebble Beach this year in the $1.2 million range, it didn’t take long to sell. “It was gone in three days,” said Bert Aronson of the Aronson Team and Keller Williams Realty, who sells homes in the area but was not the listing agent on that particular deal.
Not every home in Pebble Beach is going that quickly, but sales have picked up this year, and homes aren’t on the market as long.
There were 17 homes sold in Pebble Beach in the first two months of this year, the Monterey County Association of Realtors reported. There were 82 homes sold there in all of 2011. Homes that sold last year were averaging 160 days on the market. That shot up to 290 days for the nine homes that sold in January, then dropped to 112 in February.
