Arkansas Home Sales Climbed in September

Arkansas Real EstateHome sales in Arkansas were up more than 10 percent in September over the same month a year ago, according to the Arkansas Realtors Association.

The report showed 2,103 homes sold statewide during the month, up 10.28 percent compared to a year ago. The average price of a home rose 0.67 percent to $146,694.

Pulaski County led the state with 339 homes sold during the month, followed by Benton County with 340, Washington County with 196, Saline County with 121 and Faulkner County with 98. Home sales totaled 83 in Sebastian County and 41 in Jefferson County.
