21 Striking Future Homes


The World Architecture Festival has announced the shortlist of projects running for their 2016 awards.

Now in its ninth year, the festival has seen a record number of entries for November’s event, resulting in a shortlist of 343 designs, based in 58 countries, competing to come out on top in one of the 32 categories.

Ranging from private homes to housing projects and schools to large-scale commercial developments, the designs cover a width and breadth of styles and cultures, with design practices from 42 nations involved in the competition.
