The gay community has a fun, diverse and unique set of needs which you’d almost need to be gay to understand. I found pairing gay clients with gay realtors works best for both parties.
The ability to speak candidly with clients is not only enjoyable but effective. The usual side effects to all this open and candid conversation is the spawn of a friendship that lasts beyond the purchase of your home. Honest and uninhibited communication produces a clearer understanding between the two of us.
You must feel comfortable telling your realtor somewhat personal information about yourself in order to realize your vision. I help produce this environment in many ways, but here are a few of those ways. I listen to my clients. I don’t just hear them, and there is a notable difference worth mentioning especially among sales people. Listening is to make a conscious effort to hear or to pay attention to what you’re hearing. Hearing is the awareness of sound. I think we can all list a few instances were we knew someone could hear us, but still weren't sure if they listened.
I will NEVER act condescending or dismissive toward my clients, also I will always practice patience and understanding. I will not rush or hurry my clients. The only pressure my clients will ever feel will be produced by a home they love. Honestly I just enjoy working with people and simply interacting with people, especially when the reward is seeing the joy a home can bring.
The key to an open and honest partnership is simply getting along and enjoying each others company. If you decide to contact me our first meeting will serve to show us if we will work together well. This is for both of us to decide. If we feel comfortable together then we’ll move on to the next step. If not, I’ll put you in contact with another realtor that may suit you better.
So let’s talk and see where this goes. This may be the start of a great friendship.
Seattle is a great city for the gay community. Seattle has the second highest percentage of people identifying themselves as gay.
Between 2000 and 2005, Seattle’s population has increased by 30% and is continuing to grow at dizzying pace. Seattle night life, art scene, museums, and outdoors activities are amazing and unique to our city. Seattle residents are accepting of all types of people, possibly because Seattle has a very educated and diverse population.
We are a strategic port city to Asia and benefit from a remarkable economy that is fairly unscathed by national concerns. Our housing market has slowed to a normal pace, and we have not seen significant drops in home values. Seattle has many great neighborhoods most of which are very walk able, unique and fun...
I specialize in neighborhood matching for people moving into Seattle. Each neighborhood has a distinct feel that attracts different people to different areas.
