About Marty:
My patner and I have lived in the Hill Country near Canyon Lake for about 6 years - moving here from being life long Houstonians. I have left a corporate position in Human Resources and training to join Joy in the real estate business. Now it is my pleasure to help others find a home in the heart of Texas. About Gay Canyon Lake:
The Texas Hill country is a great place to live - we have hills and valley, lakes and rivers. Many people come here to play and some of us are lucky enough to get to live here. The Canyon Lake region is not a gay area, per se, but there are many gay people in the area. We are integrated into our communities and contribute to our neighborhoods, community organizations and churches. Property values are stable and the area is still a "good buy" as far as buying property around prime lakes in Texas go. You'll enjoy living out of the city, but not so far you can't take in a movie, or the symphony or other amenities of being in town. The stars shine bright, the sky is blue, the air is clean, and the people are Texas friendly.
