At Gay Realty Network, we list gay friendly real estate professionals all across the United States.

South Dakota is divided by the Missouri River into two parts, known locally as East River and West River. Most of South Dakota's 800,000 people live on the eastern side of the state, while the west has more ranching and the famous Black Hills, the Badlands, and Custer State Park. The state's economy revolves around the service industry, with Citibank being one of the state's largest employers.

Sioux Falls is the largest city in the state, with more than 230K people in the Sioux Fals metro area. The city sits on the banks of the Big Sioux River. While not a gay mecca, Sioux Falls does have a gay bar or two, and is one of the most liberal places in the state.

If you're looking for wide open spaces and a Midwestern mindset, South Dakota may be the place for you.

At Gay Realty Network, we know from experience how important having gay or gay friendly real estate agent can be, especially when it's time to make an offer and fill out a contract. Having an agent that knows the difference between having joint tenancy or holding a property as tenants in common, who understands gay/lesbian families and our own unique real estate needs and challenges, and who can help you find the gay friendly neighborhoods in your area where you and your friends and family will feel comfortable is invaluable.
