About Gay Durham:
The triangle area as a whole is amazingly supportive of the gay community. Strong involvement is visible from town leadership, area universities, businesses and residents.
Durham has for many years been home to Pride with a parade from Duke’s East Campus to Ninth Street that rally’s thousands in the community. The Carolina Theater plays host in the summer to the annual Gay and Lesbian Film Festival; even the downtown armory plays host to drag bingo fundraisers.
