About Chris:
I'm a native North Carolinian (originally from the coast) & have lived in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area since 1986. I have been in and around the Raleigh Real Estate Industry since 1987.
My partner Paul and I live in North Raleigh, but spend a lot of time dining and having fun in downtown Raleigh, the epicenter of Gay life in the Triangle. We have an 11 month-old Aussie pup named Hemingway, who was named while on a trip to Key West last year.
My business partner and I specialize predominantly in the Raleigh area, but are knowledgeable about all of the area.
About Gay Raleigh:
The Triangle (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) is one of the fastest growing areas in the U.S. currently. With a thriving Gay population, plenty of Colleges and Universities, the GLBT community can find plenty of things to do and people to do them with.
I would say the area is more tolerant than most. There are not "Gay Neighborhoods" per se here, but I have found the neighborhoods to be welcoming to all. There is a large contingent of GLBT folks in Downtown Raleigh, but you can also find many "family members" in the Suburbs as well (some of us want the white picket fence and all).
