USA: Mountain State Housing Markets Improving

Apr 7th, 2012

Residential housing in the mountain states of Colorado, Utah and New Mexico is looking stronger than many others, but that's partly because the comeback hasn't been as steep. Simply put, homes in the region didn't appreciate in value over the last decade as much as in the coastal regions, Arizona or Nevada. What didn't go up much before the bubble... read_more

At Gay Realty Network, we list gay friendly real estate professionals in Santa Fe and throughout New Mexico.

Santa Fe is the fourth largest city in New Mexico, located about halfway between Taos and Albuquerque in north-central New Mexico. Santa Fe is one of the great art capitals of the country, specializing in Native American and Southwestern Art, and is famous for its historic Plaza. Local buildings are required to have a "pueblo" look, making Santa fe distinctive from anywhere else in the country.

Known as the City Different, Santa Fe has gay friendly bars, but they are generally laid-back places, not dance clubs. Santa Fe is abut romance, and is filled with gay owned and gay friendly accommodations. You'll also find Rainbow Vision, a gay retirement community, here in Santa Fe. While Santa Fe has no specifically gay neighborhood, the whole city is gay friendly.

At Gay Realty Network, we know from experience how important having gay or gay friendly real estate agent can be, especially when it's time to make an offer and fill out a contract. Having an agent that knows the difference between having joint tenancy or holding a property as tenants in common, who understands gay/lesbian families and our own unique real estate needs and challenges, and who can help you find the gay friendly neighborhoods in your area where you and your friends and family will feel comfortable is invaluable.
