About Rob: I sell real estate. You can be comfortable with me, my professionalism and my reputation. I've been in Nevada since 1974, moving here to become production manager of a small daily newspaper where I ended up as the de-facto general manager. In 1987, I began publishing the Las Vegas Bugle, the LGBT newspaper in Nevada, selling it in 2002. While I sell real estate full-time, I'm usually involved with some aspect of journalism, whether it's collaborating with a local writer on a story, or writing the political endorsements for the local LGBT publications. Currently, I serve on the board of directors for Community Counseling Center and the Lambda Business Association. I co-founded our local pride celebration, owned the first LGBT/feminist bookstore in Nevada, organized a LGBT film festival and have been involved in dozens of organizations, including LGBT health care. I'm formerly from the Pacific Northwest (Olympia, Tacoma, Port Angeles and Kennewick, Washington). I've sold investment properties, income properties, a shopping center and hundreds of houses, condos and townhouses. Some of my closest friends are former and current clients and that should tell you about the quality of my work. If you want an agent who knows what he's doing but also one who is a social activist, then I'm your Realtor. I also know the ins-and-outs of home finance and can hook you up with a lender who will get the job done, while keeping your costs and interest rates low. Call me. Let's work together. About Gay Las Vegas:Las Vegas is the #1 or #2 top tourist destination for gay travelers. That's because of the world-class hotels, casino gambling, shopping and entertainment. Let's be honest about living here. We don't have the social structure of San Francisco, Chicago or Miami. We do have reasonable taxes and no state income tax. We do have great weather, air conditioning and as the economy improves, we'll bounce back with jobs. Right now, we have affordable housing, which reduces the price of your dream home by 50 to 70% from what it was in 2007. In addition, you can often buy four-times the house for what you would spend in San Francisco, Miami or SoCal. Housing prices are super low right now, so competition to buy bargain properties can be tough. I know how to weave through the maze of bank-owned homes and short sales. Contact Rob: |
