Gallatin Valley offers many choices for entertainment. By far the most prevalent are outdoors activities. Along with a diverse sense of backgrounds, there is a growing comfort in tolerance towards diversity in sexual orientation. There are now several lesbian and gay couples who own businesses in Bozeman.
Though you don't witness much open public affection on the streets of Bozeman, one can easily witness gay couples walking on the city streets without any fear of hostile behavior from their neighbors. This area allows many to find the seclusion they wish for or the small town living that many experience in towns throughout the west.
The GLBT community is growing; not in a "in your face" way that is uncomfortable for locals, but quietly and peacefully showing a stronger presence every year.
