At Gay Realty Network, we list gay friendly real estate professionals all across the United States.

Kentucky is one of the states in the American South, and joined the Union in 1792. Kentucky is known as the Bluegrass state, named after the abundent grasses that fill the state's many pastures, and is known for horse breeding and racing. Kentucky ius bordered on the north by the Ohio river, and is also a major source of coal in the United States.

Louisville (pronounced "Louahville" by the locals) is Kentucky's largest city, and sits on the Ohio River banks. Louisville has become a major medical center, specializing in the treatment of heart attacks and cancer. Louisville has become considerably more gay friendly in recent years, and now boasts several gay bars.

Lexington is Kentucky's other major metropolitan area, and is in the heart of the state's Bluegrass region. Lexington is also at the heart of Kentucky's thoroughbread horse racing industry. The downtown district and the Martin Luther King District are the gay hearts of a gay friendly city.

If you love horses, wide open spaces, and southern charm, Kentucky may be the place for you.

At Gay Realty Network, we know from experience how important having gay or gay friendly real estate agent can be, especially when it's time to make an offer and fill out a contract. Having an agent that knows the difference between having joint tenancy or holding a property as tenants in common, who understands gay/lesbian families and our own unique real estate needs and challenges, and who can help you find the gay friendly neighborhoods in your area where you and your friends and family will feel comfortable is invaluable.
