About Gay/Lesbian Orlando

A lot of people relocating to the Orlando area ask if there is a "Gay" area. Honestly, no. The area is broken down to some areas called "Parks" such as Thornton Park, Delaney Park, College Park and Colonial Town etc.

While there is not Gay area, you will find a great mix of people throughout these parks and in general the Orlando area. Your agent should be able to offer you some guidance about areas to avoid but keep in mind they cannot legally comment on crime in a given area and will likely refer you to your local police station.

As Orlando grows, so does its Gay community. Gay Pride in Orlando is every October and takes place around Lake Eola and is a weeklong event.
