About Hayley:
Although not a Colorado native, I have spent the majority of my adult life living in the Denver-Boulder metro area. I received my bachelors' degree in Psychology and later went on to culinary school. Before I began my real estate career in 2001, I did many things, including being a counselor at a residential treatment center, a job coach for disabled people, and chef/owner of my own catering business. Although I was interested in real estate, I resisted getting my license for some time because the image I had of what a realtor was did not math who I was as a person. I thought of realtors as pushy sales people who only cared about their commission checks. When I finally decided to take the leap into real estate I knew that the only way it would work for me was to hold true to my core values and beliefs which are to do the right thing, to be kind and respectful to my fellow human being, and to have my feet firmly planted on the ground at all times. I'm so glad that I took that leap, because I absolutely love what I do.
I live in Park Hill, a historic neighborhood in northeast Denver with my Partner, my 7 yr old daughter, our 2 dogs and 1 cat. I am an advocate for the GLBTQ community, and with my partner I organize the Denver Lesbian Moms Meetup Group for two mom families like ours.
I specialize in helping GLBTQ folks find a place to call home. I help people from all socio-economic, ethnic, and racial backgrounds. I'm happy to help a school teacher buy a $70,000 condo, or an investment banker buy a million plus loft. Over the course of the last 8 years I've sold homes for people all over the metro area. When people ask what neighborhoods I specialize in, my response is always, I go where my people lead me. And here in the Denver metro area, that's just about anywhere. It's great to live in a place where people from our community are widely accepted and embraced as neighbors.
