About Sherry:
ABR, CRS, GRI, MRE, REALTOR
EXPERIENCE: Growing up in a military family, made moving natural, so I know how to simplify the process. My father relocated to Colorado Springs in 1966, so I was here before most of today’s roads/neighborhoods! Since 1993, when I began selling Colorado Springs real estate, I have helped countless buyers, sellers, landlords & tenants (I help everyone), trained agents in my company, & taught “Contracts” & “Buyer Agency” @ Rookie’s Seminars.
EDUCATION/DESIGNATIONS: earned 300+ credit hours studying contracts, water law, construction, finance, marketing/technology, short sales/foreclosures/bancruptsy, divorce, insurance, mold, meth labs, heating/cooling, electrical, disclosures, international real estate, investments/taxation, HOAs, surveys, closings, & negotiation. Formal mediation training was preceded by years of negotiating settlements (for American soldiers) with a German auto insurance claims department where no one spoke English!
ABR: Accredited Buyer Representative
CRS: Certified Residential Specialist
GRI: Graduate REALTOR Institute, Colorado
MRE: Master of Real Estate, Colorado:
VOLUNTEERING: After three years on the REALTOR’s Grievance Committee (processing ethics complaints), I now serve the Professional Standards Hearing Panel, where five REALTORS judge actual ethics violation & arbitration cases, an honored, ‘by invitation only’, position. I also volunteer at Fort Carson, helping incoming soldiers find homes.
CALL ME: I’m not in the Yellow Pages, since my clients come from referrals (90%) & the Internet (10%), but you’ll find my BBB record is spotless. I love what I do & my clients love the way I do it! Call me to find out why!
