I moved to San Diego in 2002. About Gay San Diego:

San Diego is a wonderful place to live! In my opinion, it has the best weather around. San Diego has all the things you expect in a city: great parks, museums, opera, the symphony, plays and major sports teams.  But it honestly has a small time feel. If you are lucky enough to be able to stay off the highways during rush hour, it is so easy to get around by car compared to placs like Boston, DC, NY, or Chicago.

There are unique neighborhoods in San Diego. Although some places like Hillcrest are largely gay, I have found  all the places I have visited in San Diego County to be "gay-friendly."
