Arkansas is socially conservative, with a ban on same sex marriage in place approved by 75% of the population.

Little Rock is the state capitol, and is located in the heart of the state. The Greater Little Rock region has close to 900K people, as well as a temperate climate - average summer temperatures reach the low 90's in the summer, and in the winter highs hover around 50 degrees. Little Rock has a small but well connected gay/lesbian community.

Eureka Springs is the liberal heart of Arkansas. A cute, historic art enclave, Eureka Springs boasts a collection of beautiful Victorian-style homes. Eureka Springs welcomes folks of all different stripes, and is one of the most gay friendly towns in the midwest.
