Green Valley is a community for people over 55; it is just a twenty-minute drive from the Tucson International Airport. Green Valley is one of the top ten best places to live for people over 55 looking for an active and fun community.

If you don't want to live in a 55+ community, but still would like to find a nice, quiet place close to Tucson, try Sahuarita, north of Green Valley and just 14 miles from Tucson. Sahuarita is famous for Rancho Sahuarita, one of the top 10 master-planned communities in the United States.

Green Valley and Sahuarita are beautiful, friendly small towns with first-rate amenities.

Tucson can be both cool and hot. The Old Pueblo is also culturally diverse, intelligent and vibrant, friendly, with lots of good food and shopping, and then there's one of my favorites, Bookmans - I once complained why the used books here are expensive, and was told people here actually read and recycle!

Tucson also has an active Jewish Community, Chinese Community, Mosques, and churches of every denomination! Tucson is unpretentious, yet ironic. If Tucson were a person, it's no ordinary person.
