Mitchell became a Realtor in Colorado in 1989, and earned his Graduate Realtor Institute certification in '93, and his Certified Residential Specialist in '95. He has been a top producer for the last fifteen years. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in Kansas in 1981 with a BS in Business Administration and marketing.
Mitchell worked with Continental Airlines for ten years, and was encouraged to become a Realtor by his friend, Charlie Gerretson, eventually becoming VP of marketing for Gerretson Realty, Inc.
Keenan founded Miguels Mexico, selling Mexican real estate in Cancun, Mazatlan, Acapulco, Cozumel, Merida and Puerto Vallarta, and eventually opened the Merida offices of Propiedades Las Piramides, S.A de C.V. - now Mexico International Real Estate, in '97

Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula is a tropical paradise, offering an affordable, adventure filled lifestyle. there are a number of gay bars, accommodations, businesses and restaurants here, and bisexuality is accepted as normal by the locals.
There are a number of gay communities in the Yucatan Peninsula, in Merida, Playa del Carmen, and other areas. But the lifestyle is different here, more subtle. It doesn't have to be, anymore than being straight has to be. It is normal and accepted.
